🎶 Be part of a unique a cappella ensemble

​Exploring authentic voice, presence, and singing in motion — with emotion.
We’ll work towards two or more performances each year singing compositions that blend ethno, folk & contemporary styles, with improvisation and solos woven in.
​Each rehearsal is also a vocal workshop focused on finding your natural, effortless voice; embodied singing technique; performance; and vocal health.
When: Twice per month, Monday evenings
Where: Pianodrome Community Hub, Bruntsfield, Edinburgh
Cost: ÂŁ10 per session (commitment per term after the first workshop)
✨ Who We’re Looking For
- Adult singers who can hold a note and love to explore voice.
- No need to be “trained” — just musical and open.
- Audition: A simple (around 1 minute) phone video recording of you singing a song, for example Hallelujah or Scarborough Fair – A Cappella please, no backing track, so your natural tone can be heard

| ​ ​👤 About Mari: ​ The Authentic Voice A Cappella Ensemble is guided by Mari – singer‑songwriter Aino Elina and a full time CCM vocal coach since 2015.​Mari holds an MA in Pop Music and a BA in Musical Theatre Performance. Recently, Mari began working with a York‑based choir Enkelit. Her rich background (12 years and 4 ensembles) in Finnish choral traditions has instilled in her a lasting passion for the artistry of singing together. ​With a background bridging contemporary vocal coaching, songwriting, and performance, she brings both professional expertise and a passion for authentic, effortless singing to every session! |
